5th WACOM - SAMOA
CONFERENCE
(20 to 30 May 2023 )
The 5th World Apostolic Congress On Mercy
The Polynesian nation of Samoa is located in the Pacific Ocean, south of the equator, approximately halfway between Hawaii and New Zealand. This year, Samoa will play host to the 5th World Apostolic Congress on Mercy (WACOM) from May 21st to 26th, 2023.
After the 6-day conference, you can explore the island of Upolu and experience the local culture by visiting Traditional Samoan Villages. If you're up for a swim, you can also check out the Palolo Deep Marine Reserve. Additionally, you will have the chance to do some local shopping during your tour.

20 to 30 May 2023
(10 Days, 9 Nights) -
For those coming from either Malaysia, Indonesia or other neighbouring countries, you will have to fly over and meet the rest at the Changi International Airport, Singapore.
-
We will depart from Changi at night and arrive the next day at Nadi International Airport in Fiji.
-
Upon arriving in Fiji, we will have a day of sightseeing, but before we board the plane to Samoa, we need to find a church with evening mass. Due to the limited flights from Fiji Airways, we will miss the first day of the WACOM conference.
-
We will arrive at Faleolo International Airport on the Upolu Island in Samoa at 1am and check into our hotel for a good night's rest before the second day of the conference.
-
For the next few days, we will be attending the WACOM conference and staying as guests of the local organizers and communities.
On Friday, the last day of the conference, we will be taken on a local tour for shopping and sightseeing.
-
On the following morning, we will take a 60-90 minute ferry ride from Upolu Island to Savai’i Island, where we will visit the Alofaaga Blowholes and witness the destruction of land and a church.
In the evening, we will return to Upolu Island in the evening.
-
On Sunday morning, we will attend Mass at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Apia, followed by a visit to the local market and nearby sights.
-
We will need to check out of our hotel very early in the morning as our flight from Samoa to Fiji is scheduled for a very early departure. We will only have a layover at the airport before continuing on to Singapore, where we are scheduled to arrive in the evening.
We will arrange separate flights for those coming from other countries to return home.
