Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, Malaysia, is a city rich in cultural heritage, diverse cuisine, and scenic landscapes. The Catholic Church has a significant presence here, with the Archdiocese of Kuching playing a vital role in the community. Catholicism was first introduced to the region by the Mill Hill Missionaries, who arrived in Kuching on 10 July 1881.Over the years, the Church has made substantial contributions to education, social services, and charitable works, fostering faith and unity among the people.

The Catholic faith has a significant presence in Kuching, with the Archdiocese of Kuching playing a vital role in the community. Established as the Apostolic Prefecture of Sarawak by Pope Pius XI in 1927, it was later promoted to the Apostolic Vicariate of Kuching by Pope Pius XII in 1952, and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese by Pope Paul VI in 1976.

We will gather at KLIA at 1:00 PM for our flight departure at 15:15 PM, arriving in KUCHING in the evening. Transfer to the hotel to check-in. We will then proceed for dinner at TopSpot. Return to the hotel after dinner to rest for the night.
Overnight in Kuching.

KUCHING – FEAST OF ST. STEPHEN, BAU DISTRICT
Morning breakfast at hotel, Leave for Bau, visit Mt. Singai (Stations of the Cross up the hill or opt to wait at foothill), Catholic Memorial Pilgrimage Centre, Mass at the chapel
After Mass we will visit Tasik Biru enroute to lunch nearby at Min Min Food Court. (own costs)
Visit Wind Cave (Optional)
Proceed to St. Stephen’s Church for Feast Day Celebrations
Leave St. Stephen’s and proceed to Siniawan for Night Market (Own Cost)
Back to KuchingOvernight in Kuching.

KUCHING – FEAST OF THE HOLY FAMILY
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, depart Kuching for Annah Rais Bidayuh Longhouse — oldest traditional Bidayuh longhouse in Sarawak (175+ years); 100+ doors; entirely Catholic community. Visit the Baruk (ceremonial headhouse), meet families, and morning prayer together at the village chapel. Tour with guide
Experience Traditional Dayak lunch at Annah Rais. After lunch, depart Annah Rais for Semenggoh Wildlife Reserve. (semi-wild orangutans - a creation theology moment) for 3 pm feeding time. In the evening, depart Semenggoh for St Anne’s Church, Kota Padawan. Tour of church and quiet prayer time. We will join the 6 pm multi-lingual mass at St Anne Kota Padawan. Right after mass, we will depart St. Anne’s for Kuching.
Dinner and head back to hotel right after.

KUCHING
Breakfast at the hotel and depart to St. Joseph’s Cathedral & ACCPC with a guided tour. Proceed to visit St. Peter’s Major Seminary and then Mass at the Chapel.
Lunch and right after, visit the Carmelite Monastery — contemplative community.
Visit Blessed Sacrament Church at BDC and then Chapel of Mother Mary, Stutong.
In the evening, enjoy a nice Sunset River Cruise with Dinner.Overnight in Kuching.

KUCHING – MT. HOSANNA & SERIAN
Early Breakfast at the hotel and then depart to Mount Hosanna Chapel.
After visiting, we will head for Lunch at Lachau Bazaar. Depart for Serian after lunch
Visit St. Theresa’s Church in Serian on the way back to Kuching. In the evening, join Mass at Sacred Heart Church at 6.30pm. Dinner at the nearby restaurant and then back to hotel to rest.Overnight in Kuching.

KUCHING – CULTURAL
Breakfast at the hotel and then visit the Cultural Village.
Lunch will be seafood at Buntal Village.In the afternoon, visit Borneo Culture Museum and right after we will visit Holy Trinity Church. We will join Mass at St. Peter Church Padungan at 0730pm.
Dinner will be at a local restaurant and then free & easy.
