JUBILEE YEAR PILGRIMAGE
(25 Aug to 4 Sept 2025)
The Eternal City
This year, the Catholic Church celebrates the Year of Jubilee 2025 with the theme Pilgrims of Hope. The Holy Doors at the four papal basilicas in Rome—St. Peter’s, St. John Lateran, St. Mary Major, and St. Paul Outside the Walls—will be opened, offering pilgrims the opportunity to receive a plenary indulgence under the usual conditions.
Rev. Fr. Ferdinand J Magimay
Spiritual Director
As part of this pilgrimage, we will visit the hometown of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi; the Holy House of Loreto, the house where the Virgin Mary lived and where the Annunciation took place; the Veil of Manoppello, often associated with the Face of Christ; the site of the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano, where consecrated bread and wine turned into visible flesh and blood; the tomb of St. Padre Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo; and other significant holy sites.
